Producer Notes
The Bukeye Field School Lot, won by Moim Coffee in the Long Miles 2023 Auction, is produced by a group of dedicated farmers committed to high-quality coffee and serving as role models for their community. Established in 2015, the initiative began after a farmer expressed a desire to improve coffee quality, inspiring the creation of model coffee farms. Farmers receive training through coffee scouts, supervised and coached to ensure effective knowledge transfer. Profits directly benefit the farmers, who receive annual bonuses, quality incentives, and transport support, fostering sustainable practices and community growth.
